“We had such a wonderful experience with Eli! She captured my family so beautifully—every photo feels alive with texture, light contrast, warmth and connection. She made us feel completely at ease, and it truly shows in the images. A friend said the photos ‘see the soul,’ and I couldn’t agree more. Pure magic. We will work with her again!”

“Amber helped me navigate feeling self-conscious in photographs, and created portraits of me for my DJ work that have helped me secure new jobs and market myself for current and future DJ gigs. I was so happy with the results! And I look forward to working with her again.”

“I reached out to Amber wanting to have some nontraditional, creative portraits of myself. As an artist, I wanted the photos to speak to who I am as a creative person and not just how I look on the outside. Amber completely understood my vision and we worked together to make photos that feel like works of art and an extension of myself. She made me feel confident and beautiful in front of the camera instead of shy or self conscious. Amber was able to capture me exactly as I see myself.”

“As a fellow artist who is camera-shy, Amber made me feel very comfortable during our portrait session with her patience and willingness to experiment until I felt confident with the images we were making. I am now using those photographs for upcoming events and online profiles, and I feel like they truly represent how I see myself!"

“While I'm often self conscious in my body and a boudoir shoot isn't something I'd naturally lean into, I really wanted to gift my husband something special for our wedding. I knew he'd love a boudoir collection, and I was really impressed with what I'd seen of Amber's work. I decided to give it a shot and was blown away by how comfortable and relaxed Amber made me feel. She had great ideas for poses that were tasteful and compelling - both my husband and I loved the finished product. It was such a special experience I'll forever be grateful for. I highly encourage anyone considering booking with Amber to go for it!”

“I have done several photoshoots with Amber now and every single one is so good! We have done several family photoshoots, maternity and even my boudoir photos. I feel awkward infront of the camera, but she always has a way of making me feel very natural. I love that most of our shoots together are not posed. They feel relaxed, natural and flow very easily. We did a family photoshoot in our backyard and she made our messy backyard feel very dreamy and intimate. I also loved that she will meet with you after the edits and help you decide on pictures you would like to print and sizing that works perfect for your home. I highly recommend her for any photoshoot you need!”

“I’ve had two photo shoots with Amber now and both have been amazing! She shot my maternity photos when I was 8.5 months pregnant as well as some boudoir photos when I was still less than a year postpartum. Amber not only captured some beautiful photos of me, but she really showed me a side of myself that I often have trouble seeing. She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, which allowed me to feel empowered, sexy and strong for the photoshoot. She catered to my insecurities while pushing me just enough out of my comfort zone so that I no longer felt insecure. The photoshoot process itself was intimidating for me at first, but I quickly felt relaxed and confident in front of the lens, all thanks to amber. I will cherish these photos forever and am so grateful to amber for her easygoing nature, keen artistic eye, kind encouragement, and her appreciation for beauty and the female form. She is a true artist and professional and I could not recommend her enough.”

“I met Amber in grad school where her kind, warm, and generous spirit was magnetic which led to many wonderful conversations about comfort, belonging, and mutual support. Despite being a filmmaker myself, feeling more comfortable on the other side of the camera, I wanted to document this very special moment in my life as I was wrapping up grad school. Disappointed by the lack of familial and institutional support that I was feeling at the time, I decided that it was time to celebrate myself.
The conversations leading up to the shoot assured me I had made the right decision. She gave me the agency to choose how and where I felt most comfortable. She was patient, kind, and made me feel comfortable. We met up at Whetstone Park in Columbus, Oh. The park where I wandered around contemplating my MFA offer years prior, where I would later make a film, about the Rose Garden. A film that weaves through legacies of experimental filmmaker Marie Menken, Victory Gardens, and the Bread and Roses Strike. Amber would go on to sing the union song with the same name, to close out the film I made, and in the dark theater, her voice carries a warm light, with a message of solidarity, nourishment, and leisure, so now, I sing her praises. Thank you for helping me celebrate myself through portraiture, for getting to share photos for opportunities that I feel like myself in, for letting me also take a photo of you, a small gesture that really has become a huge part in my healing journey. Thank you for providing a safe space to show up to celebrate and love myself. I can't thank you enough!
I highly recommend booking a session with her.”

“Working with Amber came at such a meaningful moment in my life -- I was in the midst of a big transition and not feeling entirely at ease in front of the camera. But from the moment our session began, she created a space that felt comfortable, open, and genuinely collaborative. She worked with the natural lighting in my space and managed to capture me exactly as I am. I’m so grateful to have photos that feel authentic and grounded in that moment.”
