More than just portraits, I want to create art with you. Whether our shoot is pre-planned with a specific concept, or approached more spontaneously, I want to help best represent you and your motivation for marking this moment in time. During our shoot, I will capture moments that are posed and directed, as well as moments that are spontaneous, candid, and in-between. I have found that this approach allows for a more full expression of your experiencE.
Tell the story of your significant life transitions
I am most interested in creating artful images that help tell the story of your most significant life transitions. Photographing engagements, maternity, and graduations are all wonderful transitions to mark that I enjoy. But I’m also interested in the transitions we make that are not as obvious or typically celebrated. It could be anything from entering a new phase with work or a relationship; a rite of passage; an identity transition; or maybe you’re coming to understand yourself in a deeper way after years of unexpected changes in your life. Whatever, and with whomever, it may be, having images to mark these moments is a beautiful reminder of who we are and how far we’ve come.
See those images become timeless art in your home
Too often people receive beautiful digital images that they might share on social media, but that rarely make it to the printed and framed phase, which is where a photograph is fully realized as a work of art. This is why every collection I offer includes printed images. If it seems odd to have prints of yourself from a one-on-one shoot, I would like to suggest that there will be artful images in the collection that you will appreciate having in a printed form. Photo albums, for example, can be a beautiful way of looking through your images, rather than just scrolling on a screen. I am happy to work with you to find the best print options for you if they differ from what is listed.

This is a great collection if you are looking for a shorter, but still meaningful session!

> 30-45min session at one location
> 15-25 edited digital images for use online (social media, websites, etc.)
> a 16x24” (or equivalent) professional print of your choice OR an 8x12” linen-bound photo album (5x7” also available)

Collection 2 is the best option if you want to have the experience of a full shoot and receive a variety of images, but do not want to invest in the full day experience!
Investment: $1690
> phone or zoom consultation prior to the session
> 2 hour session
> 45-60 high quality digital images for use online (social media, websites, etc.)
> post-session review to look through your images collection and determine which ones you would like to print
> a 16x24” professional print of your choice and a 8x12” linen-bound photo album (5x7” also available). If you prefer, you may also order 3 additional prints instead of the photo album

collection 1
This collection embodies the most full experience I offer. I will spend a day with you and/or your loved ones documenting your life with a combination of digital and film cameras. This is the experience where we can really dig deep and make the most out of our collaboration. There will be moments that are more planned/posed, but I will also spend quite a bit of time documenting candid moments in your daily life (Don’t worry, you will not be posing for the camera all day!). You will receive intimate portraits in a range of locations and lighting circumstances that will represent an incredible variety of moments, textures, and emotional expression.
Investment: $2,755
> in-person (if possible!) consultation prior to our session. A piece of writing expressing where you’re at in life and how it is you’d like to mark this occasion - this is for me to process how we might best convey this moment through photographs
> (up to) 8 hours spent at your home, and/or a destination of your choice. Includes any clothing changes and locations you desire
> one-hour post-session review to look through your images collection and determine which ones you would like to print
> 60-75 digital image library for online use
> one 24x36” professionally printed and framed photograph of your choice, plus three smaller sized prints of your choice
> 10-page linen-bound album of your favorite images from the session (determined during our post-session review)
